Born an environmentalist, I won a recycling poster contest in third grade and never stopped caring about the environment or telling people how to protect it. I am a working mother of two kids who spends all my time when my kids are asleep reading and writing about environmental issues. I have a blog Green-4-U.com and write for other publications as well.     We have three different feeding stations for the birds in our backyard. One is a twin set of suet feeders containing berry suet. Another is a wire globe for smaller birds with black oil sunflower seeds in it. And the third is a regular mounted bird feeder on a pole with a nice blend of seeds and a few nuts. Our favorite bird comes around once a year and only briefly… the Indigo Bunting. The most beautiful blue you will see.
