Join thousands of people on this national day of action demanding safer products from Walgreens.
Concerned parents, health professionals and others are heading to nearly 50 Walgreens stores nationwide today to voice their concerns about the company’s failure to take action on toxic chemicals in their products.
We shouldn’t need a PhD in chemistry when shopping for safe products. It’s hard enough to remember to bring the shopping list, now we have to study product labels and figure out if what we’re buying is free of toxic chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects, learning disabilities, and other serious health problems.
Walgreens has the power—and the moral responsibility—to ensure that all of the products it sells do not contain dangerous chemicals harmful to our health.
Here’s all you need to do:
- Sign up to receive easy-to-use action materials from Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families, including a list of harmful chemicals Walgreens should stop allowing in products it sells.
- Simply go to your neighborhood Walgreens store today and have a friendly conversation with the store manager about your concerns.
- Snap a photo of yourself after you’ve taken action, and post your pic on the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics’ Facebook timeline or tweet it to us @SafeCosmeticsHQ!
- Share this post! Get all your Green Divas and Dude friends on board!
Thanks for helping Green Divas make a difference!
P.S. If you don’t have time to get into a Walgreens, please sign the letter online.
