I’ve gotten the chance to review a lot of “organic” facial and skincare products, but I’m like a canary in a coal mine and if it isn’t REALLY clean, my face breaks out straight away – and it isn’t pretty.
While there are some great products out there, the idea of making my own seemed like a no-brainer. So, I ordered some wonderful organic oils and all the materials I needed from Mountain Rose Herbs, which is a reliable source.
My face LOVES this stuff as do the faces of all the women I made this for and gave to for Christmas this past year.
GD Meg’s DIY Lavender Face Wash
What you need . . .
6 Tbs grape seed oil
10 Drops lavender essential oil
5 Drops geranium essential oil
5 Drops rose essential oil
What to do . . .
Add grape seed oil to dark glass bottle. Add essential oils. Shake gently and store in a cool, dark and dry place. It’s that simple!
I just put a teaspoon or so in the palm of my hand and gently massage into my face and wipe off with a clean, warm wash cloth. It leaves my face feeling a lot younger than it is!
