The more we connected we feel to the Earth itself and to all of those with whom we share it, the more the ways to honor it come naturally. ~ Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati
In this GVK episode, Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati—the President of Divine Shakti Foundation—shared her beautiful story about awakening. One fell swoop of Divinity opened her eyes to Truth and awakened her heart to Love. And with that, her life changed forever.
LISTEN:
My own awakening…
I went to sleep in my early teens because I did not remember my Divine Self. I could not find my Light and so I let the darkness fall onto me like a blanket of thorns. I swam in the sea of drugs and alcohol thinking I would be saved from my confusion. I was Asleep.
My awakening has been in bits and pieces. Some of these pieces have been snippets of the profound that Sadhvaji experienced. But most were tiny rays of Light breaking through and pushing away the shadow of my small self. My Higher Self knows that clarity and understanding are a major component to my Kristin self and so many examples of expansion have been presented to build upon.
Slowly, over time and with great Love from the Divine, I have Awakened. There is more Truth for me to unfold into, and I am in a place of wonderment as I journey onward.

It’s so true that when you feel connected to the Earth and all its inhabitants, you naturally feel an obligation to take good care of it. Especially since the humblest often suffer the most from environmental tragedies and the effects of climate change.

Too many people have become disconnected from the Earth…and I definitely think this is bad for our well being as well as the health of our planet!

As a Christian, it always fascinates me to notice how far society has distanced itself from God’s creation and our necessary connection to it.
