This is a HUGE issue to cover in 5 minutes, but we did manage to get in a lot of good reasons why we should make our own or at least carefully consider cleaner, non-toxic brands.

GD Heather called in with an update on what is going on in the DC area – lots of great green energy retro-fitting for some of the older buildings in DC area. GD Lisa also gave us more great green and healthy holiday ideas from tree trimming to wrapping the gifts. Our featured guest was Jessica Arinella, producer of What You Can Do, a TV and web series that helps us to find simple ways to make a difference in our world.
