Gettin Local with the Green Divas: whever YOU are! We had a great time in the studio with Guest Green Diva Meghan Van Dyk, editor of the Daily Record’s Grassroots section. We were kicking off our new weekly segment about being local whever you are. We talked about sustainability in education, pink slime and why we should give up bottled water.

We had Chris Murphy, of the Smart Little House store in Roseland, NJ call in for this segment. Chris is an expert on non-toxic homes, VOCs and offers some surprising (and disturbing) details to this topic.

GD Lisa was out this week, so we had a guest Green Diva, EcoKaren (aka Karen Lee) sitting in. We dished about a recent head-spinning, but cool green twitter party hosted by Practically Green. We also listened to a great pre-recorded interview GD Meg did with Jessica Alba about her new company the Honest Company.
