Sometimes I get a bit cynical or skeptical about earth day. I know, I know. I’m a green diva and I’m supposed to be all about earth day, right?
I love the concept and the general intent, but I’m not particularly in love with the commercialized and consumerized version of it.
But we need to step up our game in a BIG way. There are too many dire reports about passing tipping points (which we try not to focus on). I would say mama earth needs our help, but the truth is, humans and the creatures we share the planet with are the ones who will suffer — extinction. Mama earth will keep spinning and adjust with or without us.
