You (probably) drive a car often, so here are some tips for turning your car (or SUV) into a green vehicle…
Well, green-er.
I’m sure that I’m not alone in not loving the expense and carbon impact that driving a vehicle means.
I can’t help but think of all the work and waste that went into each tank of gas that I filled up, or all the smog coming from my tailpipe. So I always jump at any chance to make my ride more eco-friendly.
Of course, there are more and more options on the market for green cars—PZEV (partial zero emission vehicles), hybrids, flex-fuel vehicles, and plug-ins. But these cars don’t work for every need, want or budget.
We can’t all have a perfectly green car at this very moment, so we need ways to keep our vehicles running at their most efficient, and make our driving habits the best that they can be—reminders to stop storing tons of junk in your trunk are always useful!
This helpful infographic provides tips for maintenance, usage and parts for a more eco-friendly vehicle.
Unfortunately, most of the cars featured here are not available in the U.S.—however, take a look at these 2015 green car reviews for some suggestions!
