Great! Then this new Green Divas (and Dudes) Training Program may be right for you. Now read on…
Who can apply?
Junior/Seniors in high school up to any age (Green Diva Meg herself is a grandma) are welcome! You’ll have an edge if you have your own blog or writing experience.
How it works:
We’ll provide weekly training via Skype chat—plus hands-on experience working with The Green Divas—in blogging, editing and social media for the Green Divas blog and our content partners. We require a attendance to the training sessions and a four month commitment at 15-20 hours a week (although we could use you 24/7) starting in September and October.
While not a paid position (many people pay for this type of training), we do offer a generous commission to anyone who helps secure a radio show sponsor.
Upon completion, we’ll send you an eco-friendly printed “Certificate of Editorial & Social Media Training” signed by the Green Divas founder and podcast host/producer, Megan McWilliams, plus a some green product samples. Participants who complete the program will be considered for future editorial and/or social media positions and, even if we don’t hire you, we hope you’ll stay connected!
Responsibilities may include:
- Posting and editing content from contributors and content partners on our WordPress blog platform.
- Coordination and execution of Green Diva contests and giveaways.
- Creation of social media content for Facebook, Pinterest, Google+, Twitter and other relevant platforms.
- Writing content for the blog, including product reviews.

The show is broadcast via HomeGrownRadioNJ.org and then the podcast is widely distributed via iTunes, iHeart Radio, Stitcher, Swell Radio, Spreaker and the Green Divas podcast site. It’s also distributed through the blog and syndicated blog posts that go out to sites like Care2 weekly.
