Help inspire green living and spread knowledge about environmental issues by joining our Green Divas & Dudes Training Program!
As much as we love her (and once in a while you can hear her bark in the background on the show), Gracie just wants to lay around. And eat. And bark.
So we’re in search of some Green Divas (and Dudes) that want to play and participate in the fun! We hope you—or someone you know—answers yes to most of these questions and get in touch.
Are you an enthusiastic self-starter?
Do you have strong writing skills?
Do you aspire to live a more sustainable lifestyle?
Would you like to learn about editing, blogging, social media and even how to create cool graphics?
Do you have a computer with high speed internet access?
Do you have a sense of humor and want to have fun?
Then this new Green Divas (and Dudes) training program 
may be right for you. Note: Junior/Seniors in high school up to any age are welcome to apply! You’ll have an edge if you have your own blog or writing experience.
How it works:
We’ll provide training via skype chat and Google Hangout—plus hands-on experience working with The Green Divas—in blogging, editing and social media for the Green Divas blog and our content partners. We require a four month commitment at 10-20 hours a week (although we could use you 24/7) starting as early as April 1st. While not a paid position (many people pay for this type of training), we do offer a generous commission to anyone who secures a radio show sponsor.
Upon completion, we’ll send you an eco-friendly printed “Certificate of Editorial & Social Media Training” signed by the Green Divas founder and podcast host/producer, Megan McWilliams, plus a some green products. Participants who complete the program will be considered for future editorial and/or social media positions and, even if we don’t hire you, we hope you’ll stay connected!
Responsibilities may include:
- Posting and editing content from contributors and content partners on our WordPress blog platform.
- Coordination and execution of Green Diva contests and giveaways.
- Creation of social media content for Facebook, Pinterest, Google+, Twitter and other relevant platforms.
- Writing content for the blog, including product reviews.
