ARIES (March 21-April 19) Don’t give up or give in. Remember, you are in charge. Reclaim your kingdom/queendom and if need be, banish those who forget to bow/curtsy. Trust yourself and your process, no matter how loud the jeers of the crowd. The mob simply doesn’t understand the wonder that is you.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20) The world is your oyster, so you own the great big pearl hidden inside the rough shell. Don’t be fooled by difficult appearances. Look beyond to the lustrous outcome. If you quit because of hostile circumstances, someone else will find the ownerless pearl. Don’t walk away, thereby abandoning your miracle.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20) Sometimes the only thing standing between you and abundance is your belief in lack. It is OK to be happy. It is acceptable to have a nice life. You don’t have to suffer because you are talented. Give yourself a break. Let things come easily to you. You’re a winner!

CANCER (June21-July 22) This month it is a good idea to keep reminding yourself that you have seen it all AND dealt with it successfully. As obstacles and opportunities arise, remember to search your memory bank. The answer to many situations in the present can be found in your past. Harvest your experience.

LEO (July23-August 22) You don’t need anyone to tell you where to go, what to do, or how to do it. You are your own person. You are free to do what seems right to you, even if it involves breaking old rules. Move away from the part of you that urges caution.

VIRGO (August 23-September22) You’ve been jumping through hoops trying to keep everyone happy. The trouble is that they aren’t happy and neither are you. No matter how hard you try, you can’t make other people happy. They are in charge of their own happiness. Devote your efforts to satisfying yourself. Enjoy your life.

LIBRA (September 23-October 22) This month is about increasing your income in a variety of ways. You will find clues to new financial opportunities in your past. “What did I do that I loved?” is a good question to ask. Another clue is to consider your work-life as a Chinese menu. ( Choose from Column A-Column B)

SCORPIO (October 23-November 21) The concept for this month is balance. There is a need for you to be aware of bringing your life into balance-physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. When you are balanced, your finances and social relations will also improve, although maybe not immediately. Sometimes balance requires letting go of props.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22-December 21) This month think of yourself as a magician. Nothing is impossible for you. In order to release your magic powers all you have to do is practice “no resistance”. Simply give up all resistance to thought, word and deed. Say to yourself,”It is what it is.” Watch what happens!

CAPRICORN (December 22-January 19) You need time by yourself, peace, and quiet in order to process old losses. The reason you need to do this is because new ideas, things and people are coming in to your life. If you haven’t said good-by to the old, you won’t be ready to welcome the new.

AQUARIUS (January20-February 18) This month is about beginnings, endings and the eternal. The other signs couldn’t or wouldn’t be able to deal with this. But for you, Aquarius, it is all to be taken in stride. Once you recognize and name the situation as a beginning, ending or eternal, you can handle it.

PISCES (February 19-March 20) Stop looking for love and success! If you search, you will automatically look in the wrong places. Then you feel awful. You already have love and success. If you can’t see them, it is not their fault. Who is doing the looking? Believe love and success are in every situation!

The Path Forks

Yogi Berra said, “When you come to the fork in the road, take it.”

ARIES (March 21-April 19) Almost always you have a choice, even if it is a choice between two undesirables. You may choose to worry or transcend. You may take to the couch or bike across country while waiting for conditions to change. Before deciding on your course of action, study your alternatives.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20) You can stay trapped or you can cut free. There are penalties for both choices. You may choose the plan of action that you’ve been taught, or you may follow your heart’s inclinations. The question you could ask yourself is, “Do I want to make my grandmother’s mistakes or my own?”

GEMINI (May 21-June 20) This month is about having your own way. The fact is that you do always have your own way. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes you trample over others’ wants in order to achieve your own way. In other situations, you yield for a higher cause: still your own way.

CANCER (June21-July 22) You’re coming to a fork on the road to success. You can go rushing down the road that promises easy money and quick success. Or, you can stand at the fork over analyzing each possible decision. Only you can choose the path that is right for you. Others’ “helpful” hints aren’t!

LEO (July23-August 22) Your choice is between long held wishes and dreams. You have the power and ability to make them all come true. As you stand at the fork don’t waste time or energy deciding which path is more valuable. It is impossible to know that now. Choose that which makes you glad.

VIRGO (August 23-September22) You are at a many tined fork in the road. The choice is not which path shall you take, but will this path bring about the needed change. You need a real change and a peaceful change. Your change needs to be interior rather than exterior. Change yourself not conditions.

LIBRA (September 23-October 22) You may take either fork in the road. It doesn’t matter which you choose. You will have a certain amount of success at anything you do, as you have always had. However, until you stop being critical of yourself, all success will be limited. Cease all criticizing and undermining of yourself.

SCORPIO (October 23-November 21) There are easy ways to make money and there are very difficult ways to make money. The method is not the same for everyone. You need to be sure that your plan of earning is not one that makes you sad. Sometimes a slight adjustment changes sorrow to joy.

SAGITTARIUS (November 22-December 21) If you have been disappointed in the path you’ve been on, look ahead to the upcoming fork. There is another way for you that combines several enjoyable aspects of your life. By choosing the more pleasurable situations of work and home you are able to make a new satisfying whole.

CAPRICORN (December 22-January 19) You can go it alone or you can take a companion along on your path. You make the choice. Both situations work. Fast cash and new friendships await you. You achieve new heights professionally and socially. However, your sense of mission is so strong, you may elect a solitary path.

AQUARIUS (January20-February 18) For you there is no fork in the road. You are on a straight path of faithfulness to yourself. As long as you trust yourself and refuse to bow to outside pressure, you remain in a safe zone. Difficulties only arise when you let others force their opinions on you.

PISCES (February 19-March 20) You can have what you want. The only question is: How are you going to attain it? The path offers you two choices. You may take a very active role and shake things up as you try to attain your goals. Or, you may simply sit back and await similar results.

TerraScope – January 2010

TerraScope is an earth-centered forecast based on a combination of Tarot readings using astrological sun signs. Green Diva Jean Brookwell is a regular guest on the Green Divas Radio show.

This TerraScope is an overview for the year 2010. It speaks of themes and opportunities that will be present this year. As always it is for you to consider and decide for yourself what your course of action will be. It is after all your life and living it is your challenge. Honor your choices.

Celebrate 2010!

Aries (March 21-April 19) You have a three-pronged theme this year. 1.) Do what you want. 2.) Go in your own direction. 3.) When difficulties arise, accept and transcend them. If you had done what others wanted you to do, difficulties would still have arisen. They are part of life. Expect them and deal with them.

Taurus (April 20-May 20) Your theme this year is Peace. Chief Joseph, after seeing how repeatedly fighting injustice had killed most of his braves stated, “I will fight no more.” Declare a truce and begin to live it. First become peaceful with the easiest person or situation. Then continue to practice on more difficult ones.

Gemini (May 21-June 20) Your theme this year is the practice of Partnership with everyone and everything. Partners work together for mutual success. When one is lacking, the other jumps in and supplies what is missing. You are attempting to teach yourself a joined way of living. Practice becoming a secret and silent partner.

Cancer (June 21-July 22) The theme this year is the practice of Kindness and Happiness. Why? Because when you are kind, you feel happy! If you hold thoughts of kindness in your mind and ponder them, you will find that when faced with a choice between kindness and any other response, you’re lovingly kind!

Leo (July 23-August 22) The theme for you this year is the practice of No Difference. At the beginnings are the seeds of the ends. Out of painful circumstances come joyful results. A naughty child or wild teenager becomes a wonderful adult. This year you practice seeing beyond the obvious and through all the judgements.

Virgo (August 23-September 22) Your theme this year is to practice learning to Live Your Own Life. You are to stop thinking of yourself as Mighty Mouse, and give up living his theme song, “Here I Come to Save the Day”. Your spiritual strength and power are drained by living the thoughts in that song.

Libra (September 23-October 22) Your theme this year is Gentleness. You are intuitive, intelligent, insightful and have a great desire to alleviate the pain of others. However, you also have so much unresolved pain that you sometimes tend to use a “slash and burn policy” in your efforts to be helpful. It doesn’t work!

Scorpio (October 23-November 21) Your theme this year is to practice Recognition of Your Own Abilities. In order to do this you most likely will have to give up your tendency to blame others. Blaming keeps you in a prison of self-pity and inaction. Use your Abilities and you’ll soon discover more of them.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21) Your theme this year is practicing the Power of Abundance. It is a difficult challenge because of the widespread belief in loss and lack. You’ll find yourself having to correct your thoughts of scarcity. There is always more than enough. Search for the plenty. You’ll find it. Persistence pays off.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19) Your theme this year is the two lines from Rudyard Kipling’s poem If,

“…If you can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those two impostors just the same;” Please note that the operative word is impostors and not disaster. Once you recognize the impostors, you are free for life.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18) Your theme this year is the practice of Understanding rather than wishing to be understood. The lack of being understood is not what causes you problems. The real problem is caused by your desire to be understood. It is easy for you to understand. Now understand that they don’t understand!

Pisces (February 19-March 20) Your theme this year is the practice of Gratitude. Meister Eckhart said, “If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.” Practice saying thank you in all situations and under all circumstances. Say it aloud and say it silently. Watch what happens!
