This week is all about avoiding the traditional wrapping paper (saving a couple of trees and keeping it out of landfills!) and going with all the bits and pieces of left-over, re-purposed stuff around the house.
Because I’ve been buying coffee in 1-pound cans, I had several lying around, and it occurred to me I could use them to wrap some gifts.
I save all kinds of ribbons, paper, beads and they live in a little corner of my office. Whenever I need some embellishments, there they are … and not just for the holidays. I go to my stash all year round.
