GD Mizar was very busy with wine corks this week . . . not sure where all the wine went, but . . . she is making a lot of fun and easy crafts with corks, including some garden markets she made for me DURING THE SHOW.

We missed the first few minutes of the show – oh no! but we had a lot of fun with our GD Correspondent report from Elise Jones, who is working with NBC’s Green is Universal on their Earth Day initiatives. Green Dude Eco Ed did a great special segment on ideas for things to do on Earth Day, and GD Mizar focused on fun cork upcycling DIY crafts to support our feature interview with Patrick Spencer of the Cork Forest Conservation Alliance. We learned a lot about cork and what a great resource is it, and why we need to preserve the cork forests!

Green Diva Mizar offers us some great ideas for up cycling things around the house for our beloved pets. She offers us a detailed tutorial on how to make a cat hammock.

This show was mostly focused on pets – healthy, happy green animal companions of all kinds, and how we can help them reduce their carbon paw prints. GD Mizar offers some fun DIY upcycling for fun pet things around the house, GD Lisa called in with some startling statistics about dog and cat carbon paw prints along with some resources for green pet owners. Our feature interview was with Prince Lorenzo Borghese about his natural pet care products and his love of animals.

Fun having guest green dude Seth Leitman, who is the Green Living Guy, author, radio show host and many other things. Seth was all about cars on the heels of the NY auto show and we seemed to focus on EVs.
