I regret that I don’t have any garden this year, but we moved in July, so . . . But the new place had a lovely herb garden already going, and I planted a couple more herbs in pots on the deck. It was a good year to forage for locally grown food – from farmer’s markets to road-side stands and generous friends with gardens overrun with tomatoes and goodies.
I have unexpectedly been in the northeast for the better part of a year now and realized, I have no social life. So I signed up for some Meetup.com events that would introduce me to like-minded people and teach me a thing or two, I hope. This week I ventured out to the Eco-Exchange: Food & Nutrition Forum – Sharing Ideas, Knowledge and Solutions. Just up my alley.
