GD Mike Nowak Show
Chef Jason Hammel was a pioneer in bringing the farm to table movement to Chicago twenty years ago at his Lula Cafe in the Logan Square neighborhood. He just received the Chef of the Year Award at Chicago’s Good Food EXPO, and is a 2019 James Beard Award nominee in the category of best chef/Great Lakes Region. He joins Mike Nowak and Peggy Malecki in studio to talk about what it means to have a “farm dinner” in an urban restaurant.
