Also known as green dude Jim now. Jim and his wife have been building a sustainable home in northern New Jersey that will feature an intensive green roof. It was fun to meet him and talk to him about the process of building Underhill, and we can’t wait for the snow to melt so we can trek up there and play! BTW, Jim is an actor who was recently seen on the Blacklist. We love that show . . .

Green Diva Feature Interview: Linda Reinstein
If you are like many of us, you thought asbestos was not being used in any new materials since the 70s and was just something to be carefully removed from older homes, right? WRONG! Despite what we know about the dangers of asbestos, it is has not yet been banned from the US. Did you know Warren Zevon died from asbestos-related lung cancer? I’m still pissed about that . . .
Linda started the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) with her beloved husband Alan Reinstein, who was a healthy vital man one day and from a dry persistent cough discovered he was a victim of asbestos-related lung cancer. He paid the ultimate price to help put a face on this deadly problem, and Linda works tirelessly to help educate and change legislation to reduce this and other toxins in our environment. Go Linda! You will love her, so listen to this week’s Green Divas Radio Show podcast featuring Linda Reinstein, and learn about what you can do to help others who may be at risk of dying from asbestos-related illnesses . . .
