Dry Winter Skin is NO fun!
Although it isn’t “official,” most of us have already felt winter’s chill!
This cold, windy and dry season can lead to dry, cracked and rough skin. The reason is simple. Extreme differences in indoor and outdoor temperature, as well as the cold’s direct contact with skin, dehydrates our skin AND our bodies.
Dry skin ages faster, loses elasticity and causes wrinkles. YUK!
Exfoliating gels, peels, creams or scrubs to remove the “dead skin cells” on the skin surface is important, but so is moisturizing from the INSIDE as well as from the outside is critical!
Good Hydration is key!
One of the easiest and most effective way to stay hydrated and help our skin stay moisturized is TO DRINK WATER — clean, safe, healthy water. Drinking ALKALINE and IONIZED Water, abundant with minerals (making it Antioxidant as well) is the way to go!
To keep your body and skin well hydrated, drink about 2-quarts of water every day, your blood will circulate better and your skin will stay well hydrated and moist.
Is drinking 8-10 glasses of water per day tough for you? Then start with 5 or 6. Just add a glass a day or every two days. You’ll soon begin to see what a real difference good, clean, safe and HEALTHY water WILL make!
And if you don’t have clean, safe water that is alkaline and mineralized, I encourage you to consider a good filtration system for your home, which is much better than buying filtered water — for you AND the environment! Check out Pur2o, and learn more!
