They don’t call it the Garden State for nothin’, New Jersey produces some of the best produce in the nation. Last month on my way to our old radio station www.homegrownradionj.com, where I still do a music show with my brother on the Uncle Buggy Show, when I’m in town, I stopped at Silver Lake Farm and Greenhouses, 161 Silver Lake Road, Blairstown, NJ 07825.  There is absolutely nothing like eating local produce at it’s pickin’ prime. I love summer and it’s bounty especially here in the north where the seasons nurture such rich soil and seeds. Treat yourself and shop at your local farm stands. Support your farmers and your good health (and by the way, I don’t know my exit)
