I love my Keurig but didn’t love the pods, so I quickly found a reusable one that I liked. I bought Java Jigs, sold in the Kroger Store in my area, or available on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Melitta-Reusable-Brewers-Filters-filters/dp/B0091146V8/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1395960830&sr=1-1&keywords=javajig. I tried other reusable pods but they always managed to leave more coffee grounds in my coffee than I like. The Java Jig use tiny coffee filters, that can be composted along with your coffee grounds in the garden: http://www.amazon.com/Melitta-Single-Coffee-Filters-60-Count/dp/B00911474E/ref=sr_1_2?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1395960830&sr=1-2&keywords=javajig .

Oh I sympathize with you – that would really annoy me too. My friend has one of these and she discovered by googling “how to refill coffee pods”, that this is possible, and reports she has tried it successfully. There is a Youtube video with really good instruction on it.
    I hope this might help.

Hello, I applause your post, we need more conscious people in the world, and although I agree pods are generally a disaster for environment there is also another solution, have you heard of biodegradable pods? I use a Nespresso Machine but I use it with Ethical Coffee Pods, these machines are really practical and clean, but if the pot does not destroy itself without harming the nature there is no sustainable future for these systems. Recycling is out of the question, with the energy and resources used to transport clean burn varnish and smelt the metal the only way is the sustainable way.
lately this came in the UK:
